Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my candidacy for Florida House of Representatives District 44. Your visit to this website is a proof that you share my concern about Florida's future.
Florida is headed in the wrong direction. The legislators you have elected to serve your needs simply are not doing enough to correct the problems and plan for a better future. The legislative majority is putting politics above public service. They are so busy crowing about partisan ideology that they cannot hear the pleas of the working families and retirees who are losing their jobs and homes. The incumbent politicians are so busy holding out their hands to lobbyists and special interests that they cannot reach out to give a hand-up to the people who need it most.
It is time to change the way the public's business is done in Tallahassee. It's time to address the issues that are important to you, your children and your grandchildren: enhancing education, creating jobs, cutting taxes, improving health care, assisting seniors, managing growth, protecting the environment and making government transparent.
But first, we have to restore the public's faith in government. The first step in that process it to replace the politicians who have betrayed the public's trust and created a climate of corruption and self-indulgence in our state Capitol.
